5-Day Critter Diving Tour in the Philippines
Day 1: Arrival and welcome in the Philippines
The tour begins at Manila International Airport, where a local tour guide will greet the participants. From there, they will take a direct flight or transfer to the most popular diving spots in the Philippines, Puerto Galera or Anilao. Accommodation is on the beach, so divers can relax right next to the water. In the evening, a welcome dinner, meeting the local team, and a detailed tour program will follow.
Day 2: Critter Diving – Anilao
The day begins with a hearty breakfast, followed by a trip to the local dive school to prepare for the day’s dives. The first dive is in the famous waters of Anilao, where divers can observe microscopic marine life such as nudibranchs and shrimp. The afternoon dive explores another famous spot, Sombrero Island, where cuttlefish and manta rays can also be found. The evening concludes with a relaxing dinner and conversation.
Day 3: Critter Diving – Puerto Galera
After an early breakfast in the morning, divers head to Puerto Galera to dive around Sabang Beach. Here, divers can find red, yellow and blue nudibranchs, as well as seahorses. During the afternoon dive, divers dive in a mangrove forest, where they can encounter interesting macro creatures. The evening ends with relaxation, dinner and local sightseeing.
Day 4: Critter Diving – Ticao and Bohol
After breakfast, early departure to Ticao Island or Bohol area. Ticao is particularly rich in nudibranchs and other macro organisms. In the afternoon, divers can observe seahorses and various shrimp species on dives around Bohol. The evening ends with relaxation and dinner.
Day 5: Training and rest
Divers can learn the basics of marine photography as part of recreational programs, and how to best capture the tiniest marine creatures. They end the day by relaxing and sharing their experiences from the tour.
